The HLA 140 K is a powerful cordless long-reach hedge trimmer from STIHL, designed with professional landscapers and gardeners in mind. This short-shaft variation of the HLA 140 is ideal for pruning, trimming and maintenance work on hedges, shrubs, bushes, in road maintenance and in local authority work. It’s lightweight, has low noise output and low vibrations making it perfect for long-periods of work throughout the day in noise-sensitive environments.
Powered by a 36 V lithium-ion battery, it has excellent balance which provides less fatigue during operation. An ergonomic control handle lets the user control the speed of the cutter blade during use, and thanks to the EC motor, the blades are capable of rapid acceleration up to a range leading 4000 rpm to help you get the best cutting performance. There are 3 rpm levels to choose from 3,200, 3,600 and 4000 rpm. The tool can be used by both left- and right-handed users comfortably and efficiently too.
