The Saxnäs GTX boots weigh only about 740 grams per boot, despite being a solid, durable leather boot. The boot has a mid-height shaft of 7”/18 cm and a regular fit. The Saxnäs GTX boots feature a waterproof Gore-Tex Sierra membrane. During production, every single boot membrane is tested in a water bath to ensure waterproofness. In addition, we perform a 30-minute centrifuge spot test on 5% of the total boot production to further ensure that the membrane quality is as high as possible.
The boots upper is made of nubuck leather, and the soles are stiff Vibram quality soles that provide the necessary support when walking in mountainous or rocky terrain. The boots also have a shock-absorbing midsole, making them comfortable for long walks, even on very uneven ground. The boots are reinforced with an extra durable material all the way around above the sole.
