Murex Tradesmig 280-3 Compact

The Tradesmig 280-3 is a three phase, step controlled MIG/MAG welding power source with built in wire feed unit. With a reputation for quality and reliability second to none in the light duty MIG market, the performance of the Tradesmig is enhanced by a “Power Smoothing Device™”, giving excellent welding performance with CO2 and mixed gases.

All Murex Tradesmigs are step-controlled MIG welding power sources with integral fully enclosed wire feed units. They are designed for welding steel, stainless steel, aluminium and they can also be used for MIG brazing.

The Tradesmig 280-3 can use wires ranging from 0.6mm to 1.2mm in diameter depending on the machine selected. The units are equipped with multi step voltage control switches andpotentiometers for wire feed adjustment and easy setting of the welding parameters. All four machines are fan cooled and equipped with thermal overload protection.
