This new slide saw by Makita has taken all of the features from the earlier slide saws, double bevel, a linear ball bearing smooth slide action and an electronic motor brake to name just a few but with this model, they have increased the mitre range on the table to offer a massive 60° one way and 47° the other way. With its angled motor housing allowing for a 91mm maximum depth of cut , this saw has a large rear fence and a handy vertical vice that can be placed on either side of the table to securely clamp the material being cut.
