These are the brand new scopes from Hawke incorporating their new SR Reticle Technology plus the Illuminated Reticle technology from the hugely popular Nite-Eye range.
This brand new reticle technology from Hawke has been designed exclusively for them by former FT World Champion Nick Jenkinson.They have been carefully calibrated to suit .22cal air rifles at 11.5ft lbs using average weight pellets. They can also be calibrated to use with .177cal air rifles.
The Specialized Reticles offer calculated aiming points, eliminating the guesswork associated with 30/30 and mil-dot reticles.With the SR6 set on 6x mag and the SR12 set on 12x mag, simply zero-in to 30 yards and each cross or hollow dot below is an aiming point for a target exactly five yards further out.
The horizontal holdover bars are calculated precisely for 10mph cross winds.Ofcourse, you will need to know the distance to your target, which is why the Specialized Reticle offers four range finding brackets in the bottom left hand corner. By making educated assumptions about the size of your target, you can calculate the range of the target based on which bracket it fits into.
The adjustable parallax ring will compensate for both long range and close up shooting.
